Every year, thousands of people in South Florida help us with our mission of fighting hunger. Of course, fulfilling our mission comes at a cost. Individuals are our main source of financial support. We can only afford the costs of soliciting, transporting, warehousing and distributing donated food with the help of people like you. Last year alone, Daily Bread Food Bank saved the not-for-profit community in South Florida over $30 million. Those are dollars that can be used to expand or enhance current programs or create new programs in our community. Your contributions are making a difference!

For every dollar donated, Daily Bread Food Bank can distribute enough food for 6 life-saving meals for South Florida's hungry!

Daily Bread Food Bank shares your concerns about privacy and security of your personal information. All donor information that Daily Bread Food Bank collects which may include, your name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number, fax number as well as other relevant information, will remain in our possession and will never be sold, rented or shared with anyone.

Over 98% of every dollar donated is spent on programs; less than 2% is spent on administrative costs.

How Your Contributions Help Feed the Hungry in South Florida
$1,000 = 66 women and children will be served three nutritious meals a day at a battered women's shelter for one month.

$250 = 1,500 children will be able to gain nourishment and strength from milk, fruit and snacks at an after-school program.

$100 = 300 homeless women and children will get a hot dinner and breakfast at a shelter.

$75 = 112 families of four can have a hot dinner at a local community kitchen.

$50 = 300 lonely seniors will get a nutritious meal and enjoy the company of others at an assisted living facility.

$35 = 2 families of four won't go hungry for eight days because they can pick up groceries (milk, bread, pasta, tuna, peanut butter, vegetables and more) at an emergency food pantry.

$25 = 7 toddlers will be fed twice a day for one week at a children's services program.

$15 = 90 needy people can go to a food pantry to receive food provided by Daily Bread Food Bank.

$1 =helps our member agencies save $15 in their food budgets.
