Virtual Food Drive

In an effort to supply the ever increasing number of needy people in South Florida with food, Daily Bread Food Bank augments it's donated inventory with additional food purchases. Supplementary food purchases are made possible through the monetary donations we receive from private individuals, foudations and corporations in our community. These donations are extremely important to the needy people of South Florida because they allow us to more efficiently fill the gaps in our food supply. Your participation in our virtual food drive will help us attain these highly needed food items and better serve the South Florida community. 	Even with donations coming in...
Somtimes our shelves go bare from trying to keep up with the demand for food.
	However, through the Virtual Food Drive you can help us without doing any heavy lifting.

Need an alternative way to participate? If you are unable to monetarily give to the virtual food drive, there are other ways you can contribute. You could organize your own mini-food drive in your neighborhood or at your school. You can spread the word of this webpage to all your friends and family and encourage them to donate. Additionally, you could add a link to this webpage from your own site or myspace page. And as always, you could donate some of the more needed items you may already have in your cupboard. Suggested items to donate include:

Canned meats like tuna, salmon, chicken, turkey & ham

Canned, chunky soups and stews

Canned beans, fruits and vegetables

New, unopened plastic containers of peanut butter and jelly

We will gladly accept your non-perishable food donations Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 4:30 at any of these locations in South Florida.
