Sherwin Williams Broward County Food Drive! Sherwin Williams is holding a food drive for Daily Bread Food Bank! From Monday, June 1st, through Tuesday, June 30th they will be accepting nonperishable food and monetary donations at their Broward County locations. Miami International University of Art Food Drive!
Miami’s International University of Art and Design recently held a food drive for Daily Bread Food Bank. Their creative minds built various sculptures out of the cans and other non-perishable items that the students and faculty donated. The students then delivered the food to our Miami facility which weighed in at 762 pounds. We would like to thank Rachel Lapides from MIU for organizing this wonderful event with us!

Need an alternative way to participate? If you are unable to go to and participate in one of these food drives, there are other ways you can contribute. You could organize your own mini-food drive in your neighborhood or at your school. You can spread the word of this webpage to all your friends and family and encourage them to donate. Additionally, you could add a link to this webpage from your own site or myspace page. And as always, you could donate some of the more needed items you may already have in your cupboard at your nearest Feeding South Florida location. Suggested items to donate include:

Canned meats like tuna, salmon, chicken, turkey & ham

Canned, chunky soups and stews

Canned beans, fruits and vegetables

New, unopened plastic containers of peanut butter and jelly

We will gladly accept your non-perishable food donations Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 4:30 at any of these locations in South Florida.
