Saturday, May 10th, the 16th annual National Association of Letter Carriers "Stamp Out Hunger" Food Drive brought in donations from all over South Florida. Local residents pulled together and with the help of the letter carriers, they managed to provide an amazing amount of food for those less fortunate in our community. To put this incredible community effort into perspective, over 1,144,453 pounds of food has been collected!!! Daily Bread Food Bank would like to thank Union 1071 Treasurer Laurie Miale and Union 1690 President Mel Roxroth for coordinating the event. We would also like to thank every postal worker, sponsor, volunteer and resident who helped make the event the success it was.
